Stretch Reducing Mill

Our company manufactures reducing mills in various specifications and structural configurations. A reducing mill is a key piece of equipment in a seamless steel pipe production line. Positioned after the piercing mill and pipe rolling mill, it is used for further rolling, elongating, and finishing steel pipes. The stretch reducing process involves the continuous rolling of a hollow bloom (shell) through a series of side-by-side arranged roll stands. During this process, an appropriate sequence of pass designs is adopted to achieve continuous reduction of the hollow bloom's outer diameter. At the same time, by adjusting the speed ratio of the rolls in the stand series, the desired changes in diameter and wall thickness can be obtained.
